Course description

Discover and leverage the Unity engine and platform to create and implement 3D art and animation for games, film, automotive and more industries. As a 3D artist, you will use your mix of artistic and technical skills within the professional software development processes that turn design and visual assets into Unity to populate the “world” of full-realized real-time 3D games and applications. You will learn to become adept at aesthetic execution of a real-time interactive software project from conception through launch. The Unity 3D Artist course and certification cover the core artistic and technical skills required to work with the Unity platform.

Prerequisites

  • A high school level of mathematics knowledge
  • A basic familiarity with computers and graphics software, such as Adobe Photoshop
  • A basic knowledge of programming concepts, such as variables, loops, and conditional logic
  • Foundational understanding of animation and 2D art
  • Experience in implementing and working with 3D art, objects and environments
  • Instructors will assume your readiness for the class materials and will NOT use class time to discuss prerequisite materials
