This course is created for cybersecurity practitioners to perform job functions related to ensuring the availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality and non-repudiation of information systems (IS). This course focuses on the knowledge, skills and ability required to provide defense of IS in the cybersecurity context, including protection, detection, analysis, investigation and response processes. 
 
This is a self-paced, online course with course content (Study Guide), labs, practice tests and certification voucher. 
 
Note: This course is for students who are preparing to take the CompTIA Security Analyst+ certification exam CS0-001. 

Prerequisites

  • Students should have a minimum of two years’ experience in IT network security, plus:
  • Ability to recognize information security vulnerabilities and threats in the context of risk management
  • Foundation-level operational skills with common operating systems
  • Foundational knowledge of concepts and frameworks of common desktop and network security safeguards
  • Foundational understanding of common networking concepts and TCP/IP network protocols
