Course description
This course addresses the technical skills required to Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) data using SQL Server Integration Services. Course topics include how to create, edit, deploy, schedule and manage Integration Services packages; configuring control flow, data flow and event handling tasks within an Integration Services package; and implementing logging and error-handling during package execution.
Prerequisites
- Structured Query Language (SQL): Level 1 or equivalent knowledge
- Beginning SQL Server or equivalent knowledge

Implement an Integration Services Package
- SSIS overview
- Identify components
- Tools that are used to build and manage Integration Services solutions
Lesson 2
Implement an Integration Services Package
- Create OLEDB Connection Managers
- Import data from a SQL database into another
- Create Control Flow Tasks and Sequence Containers
Lesson 3
Implement an Integration Services Package
- Create constraints between Tasks and Sequence Containers

- Create a Data Flow Task that uses a Flat File
