What you’ll be able to do — competencies

  • Navigate and manipulate the work area
  • Set up a new document, save document presets and apply master pages
  • Create and edit frames and styles
  • Work with type, applying standard typesetting techniques
  • Create and apply appropriate colors throughout the document
  • Use PreflightandPackage, and make a PDF

InDesign is the leading tool for producing digital- and print-based brochures, flyers, business cards or newsletters in your home or office. Course topics include setting up new documents; importing and manipulating text and graphics; and working with master pages and typography.
