Software coding isn’t just for developers. From business managers to marketers, startup owners to tech enthusiasts, learning software coding is easier than ever.

The Web Development Foundations course, part of our Accelerated Software Coding series, introduces you to the world of software programming and web development. Regardless of your background, by the end of the course, you’ll have the foundational knowledge to apply your learnings to your endeavor, have a more informed conversation with software developers, or move onto more advanced software programming courses.

You will start with introductory topics, such as How the Web Works, HTTP Request & Response, Front-end vs. Back-end, and Software stacks. Afterwards, we’ll introduce you to a pre-built web-based game in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We’ll show you how the game is built and you’ll have time to modify and tinker with the code yourself.
