The Innovation Lab is designed for businesses that have been in operation for at least one year and for entrepreneurs with at least one year of business experience that are interested in starting a business. Concepts relating to the post-COVID-19 business environment have been incorporated. Participants will be assigned one or more mentors. Expert advisors will be called upon to share their expertise.

For more detailed information, check out our video.

The course is fully online and delivered using a video conferencing platform. The format will be synchronous with a weekly three-hour virtual classroom session. At the outset, the instructor will facilitate a rigorous diagnostic and assessment process where the participants will identify the pain points and weaknesses in their business. Those challenges will become the focal points for improvement that will be addressed over the following weeks. Course content will be delivered using a combination of lectures, homework assignments, individual, and interactive group exercises. It is expected that enrolled businesses will learn as much from each other as they do from the instructor and course materials.

Participants will acquire knowledge of the 3M Model of Markets, Money, and Management as a framework for analyzing their business. They will be able to conduct an assessment of the key factors that drive the success of their business. Participants will work in teams with instructors, peers, mentors, and advisors to develop strategies to improve their business and create a support network to execute.
